On Thursday, March 27, 2025, Hamilton Police Division 10 HEAT made two separate drug arrests, signaling our unwavering commitment to stop drug trafficking in our city.

Investigators were in the area of Jackson Street West, when they observed a 64-year-old Hamilton man known to be wanted on a warrant. Officers followed the man to a convenience store and effected the arrest. The search incident to arrest revealed a quantity of cocaine and fentanyl resulting in the following charges laid:

Mark Ribson, 64 of Hamilton

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking - cocaine
  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking - fentanyl
  • Possession of a controlled substance - cocaine
  • Proceeds under $5000
  • Fail to comply probation
  • Possession under $5000

Shortly after, Division 10 HEAT continued their efforts and observed two males openly consuming drugs from a glass pipe near Barton Street. Investigators covertly followed the suspects and placed a 33-year-old Hamilton man and a 30-year-old Hamilton man under arrest. The Search incident to arrest revealed Brandon Reid, 33 of Hamilton to be in possession of a quantity of drugs.
