Two Teen Arrested After Fleeing in Stolen Vehicle

Hamilton Police have arrested a pair of youths who fled from officers in a stolen vehicle.
On Tuesday May 27, 2025 at approximately 2:45am, Police were called to the area of Rymal Road and Fletcher Road for a report of people attempting to steal vehicles from driveways. Officers arrived and observed a white van with approximately 3-5 teens within it, however it sped off when Police attempted to stop it.
A short time later, the van was located unoccupied on the side of Fletcher Road. A search of the area was conducted and two teens, an 11- and 14-year-old of Hamilton, were located.
Both were arrested and one of the youths is now facing the following charges:
- Fail to Comply with Release Order x3
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5000.00
