UPDATE: Hamilton Police Seek Assistance Identifying Shooting Suspects

Hamilton Police continue their investigation into the gunfire incident in the Sherman Avenue South and Main Street East area and are now releasing video footage of the suspects involved.
Suspect Descriptions:
- Suspect One: Male, wearing a black hoodie, black pants, and black shoes
- Suspect Two: Male, wearing a dark or black hoodie, black pants, and black shoes
- Suspect Three: Male, wearing a red hoodie, white or light grey pants, and white shoes
All three suspects were last seen running southbound on Blake Street from Maplewood Avenue shortly before midnight on Friday, May 17, 2024.
The investigation began on May 18, 2024, after reports of gunfire. Evidence was later found on May 20, 2024, confirming shots had been fired shortly before midnight on May 17, 2024. Enhanced patrols have been deployed in the area to ensure community safety and gather further evidence.
Hamilton Police are urging residents in the area with security cameras to review footage from May 17 and May 18 for any unusual or suspicious activity. Motorists who were in the area during these times and have dash cameras are also requested to check their recordings for potential leads.
