Pedestrian Suffers Serious injuries after being struck by Motor Vehicle.
On Monday November 10, 2025, just after 5:00 PM, Hamilton police responded to a motor vehicle collision, involving a pedestrian, on Barton Street East in the area of Rosslyn Avenue North.
A Mazda CX-30 SUV was travelling westbound on Barton Street East when it struck a 32-year-old male that was attempting to cross the road.
The male pedestrian was transported to hospital, with critical injuries. The male driver of the Mazda CX-30 was not injured.
All investigative avenues are being considered at this time.
Hamilton Police Collision Reconstruction Unit has taken carriage of the investigation. Any potential witnesses to this collision are urged to come forward. Investigators are also requesting any motorists in the area at the time of the collision to check their dash cameras and any residences or businesses in the area with surveillance cameras to review their camera footage.
