On Sunday, May 5, 2024 at approximately 08:08 am, Hamilton police responded to a single-vehicle collision in the area of Mohawk Rd. W./ West 15th St. The lone occupant of the vehicle fled from the scene but was detained by citizens until officers arrived.
The occupant was arrested for Possession of Stolen Property under $5000 and transported to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Mohawk Rd. W. remains closed between Millbank Pl. and Garth St. while Alectra Utilities conducts repairs.
