On Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at 11:45 am, Hamilton Police attended Nora Frances Public Secondary School for a weapon report.
Before contacting Police, school administration interviewed three students involved in a March 24, 2025 incident. During questioning, a replica firearm (BB gun) was found on one student, prompting an immediate call to police.
Upon arrival, Police secured the replica firearm and continued to investigate, leading to the seizure of an additional weapon of bear spray from another student. Hamilton Police have arrested and charged a 17-year-old male and a 16-year-old male as a result.
