The Hamilton Police Shooting Response Team (SRT) is investigating the shooting that occurred on February 1, 2025 in the area of Glover Road and Lakeshore Road in Stoney Creek. There were no reported injuries and the SRT is appealing to the public for any information regarding this shooting.
The shooting occurred at approximately 9:50 pm on February 1, 2025. Investigators have collected surveillance video from the area, however, they are requesting residents or anyone driving in the area of Glover Road, Lakeshore Drive and Watershore Drive area of Stoney Creek during that timeframe to check their surveillance video and dash cam footage for any video that may assist the investigation.
Investigators with the SRT are also releasing two video clips of the shooting in the hopes of identifying the individuals responsible, or the vehicle used in the shooting. Investigators are seeking two unknown suspects, dressed in all dark clothing. The vehicle used in the shooting is believed to be a, or similar to, a 2018-2020 Acura TLX, black or dark in colour.
The motive for the shooting remains under investigation, however, we do believe that this was a targeted shooting.
