An investigation is underway for a stabbing that occurred over the weekend.
On Saturday January 11, 2025 shortly after 2:00a.m, Police were dispatched to the area of King Street East and Wentworth Street South for reports of a male with a stabbing injury to his chest. The male was located on a nearby sidewalk and transported to hospital in serious, but non life-threatening condition.
Police have canvassed the area and are asking residents and business owners in the area to please check their CCTV cameras during that time for anything that could assist with this investigation.
