DRIVER CHARGED FOR IMPAIRED DRIVING AFTER COLLISION

(CHISHOLM, ON) - The North Bay Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a driver after officers responded to a pickup truck that had collided with a tree in Chisholm Township.
On Sunday, January 25, 2026, at approximately 9:20 pm, officers were called to Grahamvale Road for a report of a single‑vehicle collision. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the driver and observed signs of alcohol consumption. The individual was arrested and transported to the North Bay OPP detachment for further testing, which the driver refused to complete.
As a result of the investigation, Zachary NUNNS, 38 years of age, of Chisholm, has been charged with:
- Operation while impaired - alcohol
- Failure or refusal to comply with demand
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on March 3, 2026, in North Bay. They were also issued a 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS), and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
