(NORTH BAY) - Minor injuries were reported following a two‑vehicle collision late Thursday night at the intersection of Algonquin Avenue and Highway 11/17.

On Thursday, March 19, 2026, at approximately 11:50 pm, the North Bay Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), along with fire and paramedic services, responded to a report of a collision in which one vehicle had rolled onto its roof.

Three occupants of the overturned vehicle were transported to hospital. One sustained minor injuries, while the other two showed no apparent injuries. The two occupants of the second vehicle were uninjured. Traffic was directed through and around the intersection until both vehicles were removed by tow operators.

A 79‑year‑old driver from Cochrane has been charged with Red light - fail to stop, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
