ASSAULT INVESTIGATION - ONE PERSON ARRESTED and CHARGED
(Haldimand, ON) - Members of the Haldimand County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested and charged one 43-year-old male for assault. following a family member calling Haldimand OPP regarding a dispute incident on Flemming Crescent in Caledonia, Ontario.
On December 16, 2025, at approximately 8:49 p.m, a family member called Haldimand OPP regarding a dispute on Flemming Crescent in Caledonia, Ontario.
Haldimand County OPP responded to the residence on Fleming Crescent and upon arrival and an investigation it was determined that a verbal argument between two individuals escalated into a physical altercation with a knife as a weapon. One person sustained minor injuries as a result. The involved parties are known to one another.
As a result of the investigation, a 43-year-old male from the town of Caledonia was charged with:
- Assault with a weapon (2 counts)
- Assault
- Utter Threats
The accused was held for Bail Court in Cayuga.
