TWO MORE ARRESTS FOR IMPAIRED OVER WEEKEND

(HALDIMAND COUNTY) - Two more drivers are facing court dates for alcohol related driving offences in Haldimand County.
On March 29, 2026, at approximately 7:20 pm, members of the Haldimand detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single vehicle collision on Highway 6, Haldimand County.
A 58-year-old from Hamilton has been charged with the following offences:
- Operation While Impaired
- Dangerous Operation
- Owner Operate a Motor Vehicle Without Insurance
- Fail to Surrender Permit for Motor Vehicle
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cayuga on April 14, 2026.
On March 30, 2026, at approximately 7:30 pm officers responded to a two-vehicle collision on Richard William Drive, Caledonia.
A 23-year-old from Cayuga has been charged with the following offences:
- Operation While Impaired
- Operation While Impaired - Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 plus)
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cayuga on May 5, 2026.
