(HALDIMAND COUNTY) - An individual has been charged following a sexual assault investigation in Haldimand County.
On February 5, 2026, at approximately 3:30 pm, members of the Haldimand detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a sexual assault that occurred at an address in Haldimand County.
As a result of the investigation, a 68-year-old from Dunnville, was arrested on April 21, 2026, and has been charged with the following offence:
- Sexual Assault
The name of the accused is being withheld to protect the identity of the victim.
The accused was released from police custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cayuga on a later date.
