Two Charged
(HALDIMAND COUNTY) - Two teens have been charged following a robbery investigation in Haldimand County.
On Thursday January 29, 2026, at approximately 3:00 pm, members of the Haldimand detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a robbery that occurred earlier in the day on Alma Street, Hagersville.
The investigation determined that a group of youth crossed paths at approximately 1:30 pm, and two of the youth demanded money from two others while brandishing a weapon. No injuries were reported.
Two 14-year-old youth have been charged with the following offence:
- Robbery with Weapon
Both accused, whose identities are protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, were released from police custody and are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cayuga on a later date.
