POLICE SEEKING ASSISTANCE WITH ASSAULT INVESTIGATION

(HALDIMAND COUNTY) - The Haldimand detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is seeking assistance from the public in relation to an ongoing assault investigation that occurred at an event at a local raceway.
On June 15, 2025, at approximately 2:40 am, the Haldimand OPP along with the Major Crime Unit launched an investigation after receiving information of an assault that left an individual with serious non-life-threatening injuries.
The investigation determined that several people were involved in what began as a verbal altercation that turned physical.
As a result, one individual was transported to hospital for treatment.
