ASSAULT INVESTIGATION - ONE PERSON ARRESTED and CHARGED
(Haldimand, ON) - Members of the Haldimand County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged one individual following a neighbour dispute incident in Cayuga, Ontario.
On May 27, 2026, at approximately 3:00 pm, a victim of an assault that occurred in the Town of Cayuga on May 8, 2026, attended the Haldimand County OPP Detachment to report the incident.
A Haldimand County OPP investigation had determined that an assault did occur and that the parties involved are known to one another.
As a result of the investigation, a 35-year-old individual from the town of Cayuga was charged with, Assault, under the Criminal Code.
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on July 14, 2026, in Cayuga.
