(CHATHAM KENT, ON) - The Elgin Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detachment, has charged an individual following a traffic stop.
On Monday, March 23, 2026, at approximately 7:20 am, a member of the Elgin OPP stopped a passenger vehicle in the westbound lanes of Kings Highway 401, Municipality of Chatham Kent. The motor vehicle was stopped for doing 162 kilometres and hour in a posted 100 km/h zone.
