Names Of Charged Parties Released
(WEST ELGIN, ON) - Elgin Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged four people from Elgin County with 26 criminal offences following a robbery in West Elgin.
On Saturday, February 28, 2026, at approximately 8:30 pm, members of the Elgin OPP responded to a report of a targeted robbery at an address on Graham Street in the Town of West Lorne.
Two adult victims sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
On Wednesday, April 8, 2026, the Elgin OPP Major Crime Unit and front-line members with the assistance from West and Central Region Tactics and Rescue Unit, West Region Emergency Response Team, West Region Canine Unit and the following Community Street Crime Units: Elgin, Middlesex, Essex, Norfolk, Oxford, Lambton and Brant executed four search warrants in the County of Elgin.
Money, jewelry, and electronics were stolen from the victims.
As a result of the executed search warrants, several firearms, two Conducted Energy Weapons, Hydromorphone pills and Cocaine were seized by police.
Elgin OPP Major Crime is still investigating.
