(GODERICH, ON) - The Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged an individual following an incident in the Town of Goderich on November 15, 2025.

On Saturday, November 15, 2025, just before 2:00 pm, Huron OPP officers were contacted about an individual who was reportedly causing a disturbance at a retail business property on Huron Road in Goderich. Police located the suspect, who proceeded to hit a police cruiser with a hockey stick, then flee on a bicycle. The accused was later located, arrested, and charged as follows:

Trevor STRUTH, 48 years-of-age of no fixed address was charged with:

  • Causing a Disturbance, - Assault a Peace Officer, - Fail to Comply with Probation - (three counts)

The accused was processed and held for a bail hearing where they were later released from custody. The accused has a court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice - Goderich on December 15, 2025.
