(GODERICH, ON) - Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged an individual with nine criminal offences following a theft from a vehicle in the Town of Goderich.

On Thursday, February 05, 2026, Huron County OPP officers responded to a theft report in Goderich. Officers spoke to the victim, who indicated that their credit cards were stolen and recently used at a retail store in Goderich. Officers attended the store and located the suspect, who was still in possession of the stolen items. The suspect was arrested and charged as follows:

Raquel ORMENO, 27 years-of-age from no fixed address has been charged with:

  • Possession of a Credit Card - (three counts), - Use of Credit Card - (three counts), - Failure to Comply with Release Order - (three counts)

The accused was processed, held for a bail hearing and remanded into custody with a future court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice - Goderich.
