RIDE PROGRAM LEADS TO ARREST OF IMPAIRED DRIVER

(SPRINGWATER, ON) - The Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged one individual with impaired driving at a RIDE (reducing impaired driving everywhere) Program.
On Thursday, January 15, 2026, shortly after 3:00 pm, Huronia West OPP officers conducted a RIDE Program on Gill Road in Springwater Township.
As a result, Daniel BROHM, a 61-year-old of Midhurst, was arrested and charged with the following:
- Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Collingwood on February 10, 2026, to answer to the charges.
