SUSPECT FOUND UNLAWFULLY INSIDE CLINTON RESIDENCE

(CENTRAL HURON, ON) - The Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged an individual following an incident in the Town of Clinton, (Municipality of Central Huron).
On Sunday, November 09, 2025, at 09:30 am, Huron OPP officers were contacted by a homeowner who discovered someone unlawfully inside the homeowner’s residence, located on Albert Street in Clinton. Police located the suspect inside the home, and they were promptly arrested. The accused was identified and charged as follows:
Stephanie ELLIOTT, 46 years-of-age of no fixed address was charged with:
- Unlawfully in a Dwelling House, - Mischief, - Failing to Comply with Probation Order
The accused was processed and held for a bail hearing where they were remanded into custody. The accused has a later court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice - Goderich.
