(DOWLING, ON) - The Nipissing West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a collision involving a police vehicle and snowmobile in Sudbury.
On Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at approximately 6:45 pm, a member of the Nipissing West OPP was involved in a collision with a snowmobile on Highway 144 at Sturgeon Street in Dowling.
No injuries have been reported. Highway 144 was closed at Sturgeon Street and has since reopened. The investigation remains ongoing.
