PUBLIC ASSISTANCE NEEDED WITH THE THEFT OF A TRAILER WITH TWO SNOWMOBILES

(UNORGANIZED TERRITORY, ON) - Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the person(s) of interest in the theft of trailer with two snowmobiles.
On Thursday April 30, 2025, the Nipissing West (Sudbury) Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a theft from a property on Onaping Lake Road, Unorganized Township, north of Sudbury.
Sometime after April 24, 2026, unknown person(s) attended the public landing on Onaping Lake and removed a trailer with two snowmobiles inside.
- The 21 ’ trailer is described as a black and grey 2021 dual axle enclosed with Ontario plates V2721E
- The first snowmobile is described as a black 2023 Skidoo Expedition 900 Ace, with Ontario plate 4AV868
- The second snowmobile is described as a black 2022 Skidoo Renegade Enduro, with Ontario plate 9AW539
The suspect’s vehicle was described as a maroon 2020’s model Chevrolet Silverado pick-up truck.
Officers are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the individual(s) and anyone else involved in the theft or possession of these items.
