OPP IS INVESTIGATING A FATAL ATV COLLISSION

(UNICORPORATED TOWNSHIP, ON) - The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a fatal All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) collision.
On Monday September 15, 2025, at approximately 10:35 am, members from the Nipissing West (Sudbury) Detachment of the OPP and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded to a single ATV collision, on Old Portelance Gervais Lumber Road, Unincorporated Township, approximately 55 kilometres north of Capreol.
A 77-year-old-person from Capreol was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The investigation is still ongoing with the assistance of the OPP Collision Reconstructionist and the Traffic Collision Investigation Team to determine the cause of the collision.
