(RENFREW, ON) - The Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged one person after responding to an assault call.
On Monday, February 16, 2025, at approximately 4:00 pm, Renfrew OPP officers responded to an assault call for service in the Township of Horton.
As a result of the investigation, Robert SLEMKO age 66 of Horton Township was charged with:
- Two counts of assault with a weapon
- Two counts of uttering threats- to cause death or bodily harm
- Two counts of failure to comply with probation order
The accused was held for a bail hearing.
