(RENFREW, ON) - The Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged one person after responding to a motor vehicle collision.
On Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at approximately 12:30 am, Renfrew OPP officers responded in a motor vehicle collision in the Town of Renfrew.
As a result of the investigation, Lucas POWELL age 19 of Renfrew was charged with:
- Resist peace officer
- Operation while impaired- alcohol
- Operation while impaired- blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
The accused was released and scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on February 18, 2026.
