ONE PERSON CHARGED AFTER REPORTS OF ASSAULT AND THEFT

One Suspect Remains Outstanding

(RENFREW, ON) - The Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating an assault and theft that took place on Raglan Street South, in the Town of Renfrew.

On Sunday, August 10, 2025, at approximately 5:00 pm, Renfrew OPP received reports that two males attended a residence, assaulted the victim and stole their bike.

As a result of the investigation, Brandon SHARPE, age 29 of Renfrew was charged with:

  • Assault
  • Uttering threats- cause death or bodily harm
  • Fail to comply with probation order

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on September 17, 2025.

The second suspect is still outstanding. Police are asking for the publics assistance to help identify this individual.
