TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO DRUG CHARGE

(RENFREW, ON) - The Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged one person after a traffic stop leads to criminal charges.
On Saturday, February 7, 2026, at approximately 9:20 pm, Renfrew OPP officers conducted a traffic stop in McNab/Braeside Township.
As a result of the investigation, Dana PEARCE age 25 of Pembroke was charged with:
- Three counts failure to comply with release order
- Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking-cocaine
The accused was held for a bail hearing.
