(RENFREW, ON) - The Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged one person after responding to an assault call for service.
On Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at approximately 1:55 am, Renfrew OPP responded to an assault call for service in the Town of Arnprior.
As a result of the investigation, one person was charged with:
- Assault
- Assault cause bodily harm- choke, suffocate or strangle
- Assault with a weapon
- Uttering threats- cause death or bodily harm
- Forcible confinement
- Fail to comply with probation order
The accused was held for a bail hearing.
