(RENFREW, ON) - The Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged one people after responding to a single motor vehicle collision on Calabogie Road in Greater Madawaska Township.
On Friday, December 12, 2025, at approximately 1:00 am, Renfrew OPP officers responded to a single motor vehicle collision.
As a result of the investigation, William MARTEL age 66 of Ottawa was charged with:
- Failure or refusal to comply with demand
- Operation while impaired- alcohol
The accused was released and scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on January 14, 2026.
