THREATS CALL LEADS TO MULTIPLE CHARGES

(RENFREW, ON) - The Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged one person after responding to a threats call.
On Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at approximately 12:30 pm, Renfrew OPP officers responded to a threats call for service in the Town of Arnprior.
As a result of the investigation, Joel IMBERT age 46 of Arnprior was charged with:
- Two counts fail to comply with undertaking
- Assault
- Uttering threats- death or bodily harm
The accused was held for a bail hearing.
