MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISION LEADS TO IMPAIRED CHARGES

(RENFREW, ON) - The Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged one people after responding to multiple impaired driving incidents this past week.
On Friday, November 7, 2025, at approximately 12:20 am, Renfrew OPP officers responded to a single motor vehicle collision in the Town of Renfrew.
As a result of the investigation, Donald NELSON age 58 of Quebec was charged with:
- Operation while impaired- drugs
- Dangerous operation
- Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000
The accused was held for a bail hearing.
