OPP INVESTIGATING ARMED ROBBERY IN ARNPRIOR

(ARNPRIOR, ON) - An investigation is underway into an armed robbery in Arnprior.
On Wednesday, September 10, 2025, just after midnight, officers with the Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the incident at a convenience store on Madawaska Street.
A lone male, armed with a knife, had entered the store, and demanded cash. There were no injuries.
The individual fled on foot and was last seen eastbound on Madawaska.
The individual is described as approximately 5’10” (178 cm) tall and 150 pounds (68 kg). He was wearing a black and grey hoodie, a ball cap with a grey brim and a black face mask.
Officers, including members of the OPP Emergency Response Team and Canine Unit, searched the area. The male was not located, but the Canine Unit did locate evidence related the robbery.
