MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISION LEADS TO DRUG CHARGE

(RENFREW, ON) - The Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged one person after responding to a motor vehicle collision.
On Sunday, January 18, 2026, at approximately 11:15 pm, Renfrew OPP officers responded to a motor vehicle collision in the Township of Horton.
As a result of the investigation, Larry DUFORD age 63 of Calabogie was charged with:
- Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking- cocaine
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000
The accused was released and scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on February 18, 2026.
