MULTIPLE CHARGES LAID IN INTIMATE PARTNER VIOLENCE CALL

(RENFREW, ON) - The Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged one person after responding to an intimate partner violence call for service.
On Friday, April 29, 2026, at approximately 10:40 am, Renfrew OPP responded to an intimate partner violence call for service in the Township of McNab/Braeside.
As a result of the investigation one person was charged with:
- Three counts of assault
- Assault cause bodily harm
- Forcible confinement
- Two counts of sexual assault
The accused was released and will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke at a later date.
