(RENFREW, ON) - The Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged one person after responding to an assault call for service.
On Thursday, April 2, 2026, at approximately 1:40 am, Renfrew OPP responded to an assault call for service in the Town of Renfrew.
As a result of the investigation, one person was charged with:
- Assault with a weapon
- Mischief
- Resist peace officer
The accused was released and will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke at a later date.
