(RENFREW, ON) - The Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged one person after responding to a weapons call for service.
On Friday, April 24, 2026, at approximately 11:55 pm, Renfrew OPP responded to a weapons call for service in the Town of Renfrew.
As a result of the investigation, a 44-year-old of Horton Township was charged with:
- Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
- Breach of recognizance
- Possession of a schedule III substance
The accused was held for a bail hearing.
