(RENFREW, ON) - The Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged one person after responding to a traffic complaint in the Town of Renfrew.

On Sunday, August 17, 2025, at approximately 6:30 pm, Renfrew OPP officers responded to a traffic complaint in a construction area, in the Town of Renfrew. The subject vehicle was located, and officers investigated the complaint.

As a result of the investigation, Jeffrey PARSONS age 33 of Renfrew was charged with:

  • Operation while impaired- alcohol
  • Failure or refusal to comply with demand

The accused was released and scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on September 17, 2025.

The individual’s driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days, and their vehicle was impounded for seven days.
