(BRANT COUNTY, ON) - A driver is facing impaired driving charges, following an investigation by Brant County OPP. On the evening of May 16, 2026, at 8:30 pm officers were called to attend Broadway Street West at West River Street regarding a vehicle driving erratically in the County of Brant.
As a result of the investigation, police arrested and charged 30-year-old, Richard BROOKS from Brantford, with the following Criminal Code offences:
- Operation While Impaired - Alcohol and drugs
- Operation While Impaired - Blood Alcohol Concentration Over 80
The accused was released and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford on July 2, 2026.
