DRIVER ARRESTED FOR IMPAIRED DRIVING IN BRANT COUNTY

(BRANT, ON) - A driver is facing impaired charges after police were called to a single motor vehicle collision.
On Sunday, February 1, 2026, at approximately 5:49 am, Brant County OPP were called to Maple Avenue North between Third Concession Road and Second Concession Road to investigate a single motor vehicle collision in the County of Brant.
Police charged 37-year-old, Mykel STEEVES of Port Dover with the following Criminal Code offences:
- Operation While Impaired - Alcohol and drugs
- Operation While Impaired - Blood Alcohol Concentration Over 80
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario court of Justice in Brantford on February 13th, 2026.
