One Person Charged
(BRANT, ON) - Members of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged one individual following an intimate partner violence investigation in Brant County.
On May 2, 2026, at approximately 11:30 pm, Brant County OPP responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence in the County of Brant.
As a result of the investigation, a 38-year-old individual from the town of Paris was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with:
- Assault with a Weapon - Spousal, - Uttering Threats - Cause death or Bodily Harm-Spousal
The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford, on June 20th, 2026.
