(BRANT, ON) - On July 17, 2025, at approximately 2:20 am, Brant County OPP responded to a report of a vehicle being driven erratically on Highway 403 westbound near Brantford.
The vehicle failed to stop for police and was later safely stopped near Highway 403 and Highway 401 with the assistance of Oxford County OPP.
As a result, 42-year-old Richard WIEBE of Scarborough has been charged with:
- Dangerous Operation
- Flight from Peace Officer
The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford at a later date.
