DRIVER ARRESTED AFTER IMPAIRED DRIVING INVESTIGATION

(BRANT COUNTY, ON) - A driver is facing impaired driving charges, following an investigation by Brant County OPP. On the evening of April 7, 2026, at 10:00 pm officers conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Cockshutt Road and Oxbow Road in the County of Brant.
The traffic stop was in response to an original call of a break and enter, into a private residence, in the county of Brant. As a result of the investigation, police arrested and charged 36-year-old, Jordan Meisel from Brantford, with the following Criminal Code offences:
- Break, Enter a dwelling house with intent to commit indictable offence
- Operation While Impaired - Blood Alcohol Concentration Over 80
The accused was released and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford on May 22, 2026.
