(BRANT, ON) - A driver is facing Careless Driving charges after police were called to a motor vehicle collision involving a school bus.

On Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at approximately 3:20 pm, Brant County OPP were called to Bishopsgate Road between Fifth Concession Road and Golf Links Road in the County of Brant to investigate a motor vehicle collision involving a school bus transporting 30 children.

The police investigation determined that a 43-year-old driver from St. George, Ontario, has been charged with Careless Driving under the Highway Traffic Act. All passengers aboard the school bus were assessed and found to be uninjured, and the at‑fault driver also did not sustain any serious injuries.
