(BRANT, ON) - A driver is facing impaired charges after police were called to a single motor vehicle collision.
On Saturday, February 28, 2026, at approximately 11:45 pm, Brant County OPP were called to Grandville Circle in the town of Paris to investigate a single motor vehicle collision in the County of Brant.
The police investigation revealed there were no injuries, however the 18-year-old driver, Jacob Michael SMITH of Woodstock was charged with the following Criminal Code offences:
- Operation While Impaired - Alcohol and drugs
- Operation While Impaired - Blood Alcohol Concentration Over 80
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario court of Justice in Brantford on April 10th, 2026.
