(BRANT, ON) - On Friday, September 26, 2025, at approximately 10:30 pm, a member of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on Highway 403 East, west of Bishopsgate Road after observing a vehicle travelling at an excessive rate of speed.

The officer was conducting speed enforcement in the area when a vehicle was observed travelling 167 km/h in a posted 110 km/h zone.

As a result of the investigation, a 22-year-old driver from Mississauga has been charged with:

  • Drive Motor Vehicle - Perform Stunt - Excessive Speed
  • Speeding - 167 km/h in a 110 km/h Zone
  • Fail To Surrender Permit For Motor Vehicle

The driver’s licence was suspended for 30 days, and the vehicle was impounded for 14 days as per legislation.
