DRIVER CHARGED WITH STUNT DRIVING IN BRANT COUNTY

(BRANT, ON) - On Saturday, January 19, 2025, at approximately 3:04 pm, a member of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on Colborne Street West in the County of Brant after observing a vehicle travelling at an excessive rate of speed.
The officer was conducting speed enforcement in the area when a vehicle was observed travelling 113 km/h in a posted 70 km/h posted speed zone.
As a result of the investigation, a 31-year-old driver from Kitchener has been charged with:
- Drive Motor Vehicle - Perform Stunt - Excessive Speed
- Speeding - 113 km/h in a 70 km/h Zone
The driver’s licence was suspended for 30 days, and the vehicle was impounded for 14 days as per legislation.
