(BRANT COUNTY, ON) - A driver is facing impaired driving charges, following an investigation by Brant County OPP. On the evening of April 10, 2026, at 7:30 pm officers were called to attend Burt Road regarding a vehicle driving erratically in the County of Brant.
As a result of the investigation, police arrested and charged 21-year-old, Austin MURPHY from Brant County, with the following Criminal Code offences:
- Operation While Impaired - Alcohol and drugs
- Operation While Impaired - Blood Alcohol Concentration Over 80
Once the release court documents were completed, the accused was released and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford on May 22, 2026.
