(BRANT COUNTY, ON) - A driver is facing impaired driving charges, following an investigation by Brant County OPP. On the morning of May 31, 2026, at 11:30 am officers were notified regarding two vehicles that were street racing on Pottruff Road in the County of Brant.
As a result of the investigation, police arrested and charged 26-year-old, Zachary MACKINNON from Paris, Ontario with the following Criminal Code offences:
- Operation While Impaired - Blood Alcohol Concentration Over 80, - Operation while impaired - alcohol and drugs, - Operation while impaired - alcohol and drugs, - Fail to attend for court - as per undertaking
The accused was released and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford on July 10, 2026.
